Litchfield County, and Cornwall in particular, is a very special place to live. The full range of seasons enhances the beauty of the mountains and waterways. Forest trails go on for miles, with wildlife every step of the way. The working farms move from bustling activity to the still of winter and back again, while those farmers that have moved on leave behind the timeless quiet of an empty barn. Small towns and villages have an unmistakable pride, as evident in spectacular Fall Festivals as it is in volunteers manning fire stations in the cold of February. There is a picture perfect postcard around every corner, and I pursue capturing that special energy, so I can share it with you....
